Europe is a continent of Earth, in the Eastern and Northern hemispheres. It is divided from the continent of Asia, to its east, by the Ural Mountains and Caucasus Mountains.
To the west of Europe is the Atlantic Ocean. To the south is the Mediterranean Sea. To the north is the Arctic Ocean.
