The Ponderosa Ranch is a ranch in Nevada, on the eastern shore of Lake Tahoe. It is home to Ben Cartwright and his three sons, Adam, Hoss and Little Joe Cartwright. Its cook is Hop Sing.
The Ponderosa is to the west of Virginia City, Nevada, and south of Reno. It covers an area of a thousand square miles.
