Robert Simpson "Rob" Petrie is a TV writer living in New Rochelle, New York, and working in Manhattan. In the 1960s, he is the head writer for The Alan Brady Show, a variety show starring Alan Brady; his co-writers are Buddy Sorrell and Sally Rogers. Petrie is married to Laura Petrie; their son is Ritchie Petrie.
